Bahamas First General Insurance Company is pleased to announce that Senior Underwriter Carla Rolle-Stubbs has been appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador by the Chartered Insurance Institute (“CII”), the UK-based professional body dedicated to building public trust in the insurance and financial planning profession. CII Goodwill Ambassadors are charged to assist the international CII team in promoting the organization’s qualifications and professional standards. Mrs. Rolle-Stubbs is the first person in the Caribbean region to hold this position.
“I am delighted to assist the Chartered Insurance Institute as a Goodwill Ambassador in its drive to connect with Caribbean based insurance professionals and advocate for the importance of obtaining globally recognized professional qualifications,” said Mrs. Rolle-Stubbs. “I am passionate about professional development and lifelong learning and so this partnership is an authentic collaboration of efforts to build the credibility and expertise of our industry.”
A Chartered Insurer and experienced general insurance professional, Mrs. Rolle-Stubbs entered the industry in 2005. She is currently a Senior Underwriter at Bahamas First and holds underwriting, reinsurance, and risk management responsibilities. She is a member of the CII’s Society of Underwriting Professionals and holds an Advanced Diploma in Insurance and an associate degree in Business Management.
