Why We’re Riding for Childrens’ Education with TechBikers

Qudini’s Fraser Hardy, Co-Founder and CTO, has taken on the challenge of a 3-day, over 300km Paris to London bike ride on 19-21 July in support of Room to Read, a leading non-profit focused on girls’ education and children’s literacy in Asia and Africa. 

The challenge is organised by Techbikers, a collaboration of the London tech startup community to help children in need by supporting literacy charity Room to Read. Since 2012 over 300 tech professionals – including start-ups, venture capitalists and executives have cycled 960km in three Paris to London rides to raise money for this fantastic charity.

‘I am proud, excited and a bit daunted to do the ride. At Qudini we encourage great work but we also encourage our team to stay healthy through things like our running club and healthy snacks for staff. For me doing the ride is a chance to incorporate a personal challenge into my work life and also live Qudini’s EPIIC values of Energy, Passion, Insight, Innovation and Collaboration,’ says Fraser. 

‘Plus the fact that I can contribute to a great cause like Room to Read makes it feel really good to participate.’ 

Fraser’s goal is to raise $500 for Room to Read.
