It’s showtime! With dozens of keynote speakers ready to share major industry secrets, the Retail Technology Show in Olympia you can’t afford to miss.
We’re excited to be attending the 2022 Retail Technology Show in April with Star and Samsung. That’s right, we’ll be at two stands so our team are easier than ever to reach. Come and see how our software works with Stars’ printers at stand 6G10. Some of our team can also show you at stand 6D70 how we’re supporting Samsung with our Retail Choreography solutions.
When is the Retail Technology Expo happening?
The Retail Technology Exhibition is happening on April 26th–27th (Tuesday & Wednesday). The event is taking place in the Grand Hall (Olympia, London).
3 speakers we’re hoping to see at the Retail Technology show
There are plenty of innovative and fascinating companies attending the Retail Technology show in Olympia this April. However, there are three speakers in particular that have grabbed our attention:
Steven Bartlett, co-founder of Social Chain
Most will know Steven Bartlett as the youngest and newest investor to join Dragon’s Den. However, it’s his critical understanding of how social media influences consumer behavior that put him there.
He’s set to talk about how the metaverse and NFTs will affect the retail landscape and what retailers can do to keep on top of emerging digital trends.
You can hear him talk at 13:05 pm on Tuesday the 26th in the Headline Theatre.
Mike Logue, former CEO of Dreams
Bed retailer Dreams was headed into nightmare territory in 2013 when they entered administration. Yet a quick pivot towards digital retail brought them back from the brink–and then some (Tempur acquired Dreams for an impressive £340m in 2017).
Mike Logue, former CEO of Dreams, is expected to speak about the company’s rollercoaster journey, and how using technology helped them to serve their customers more effectively. If ever there was doubt about the power of omnichannel retail, Logue’s keynote speech is sure to squash it once and for all.
You can watch Logue’s keynote presentation at 10:50 am on the 26th in Theater A.
Ella Mills, founder and brand director of Deliciously Ella
Ella Mills’ success isn’t just a the result of her large social media following—it shows how important connecting with your audience is. After all, it’s experiences, not products, that will determine the big winners of the retail revolution.
Hear about how you can establish a meaningful connection with your customers at 1:05 pm in the Headline Theater.
What about the AWS Summit?
Are you also attending the AWS Summit on Wednesday 27th of April at ExCel London? You can find our team in the demo pods area. They have lots of exciting news to share with you about our AWS partnership, especially since our recent big win at the AWS Software Startup Award.
