{"id":793,"date":"2020-10-05T09:48:48","date_gmt":"2020-10-05T08:48:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/109.228.53.96\/nua-insurance\/?p=793"},"modified":"2020-11-03T13:58:25","modified_gmt":"2020-11-03T13:58:25","slug":"what-to-do-if-you-are-involved-in-a-motor-accident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/109.228.53.96\/nua-insurance\/what-to-do-if-you-are-involved-in-a-motor-accident","title":{"rendered":"What to do if you are involved in a motor accident"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You can&#8217;t always predict what&#8217;s going to happen, but we can help you prepare with this important information should you find yourself involved in a motor accident.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check for injured persons, note the type of injuries and call for the ambulance if necessary, and the police.<\/li>\n<li>Look for witnesses and write down their names and addresses.<\/li>\n<li>Obtain details of the other vehicle(s) namely: When a policeman arrives, write down his\/her name and number and answer all questions to the best of your ability.\n<ul>\n<li>Name shown on licence disk;<\/li>\n<li>Number on licence plate;<\/li>\n<li>Make, model and colour;<\/li>\n<li>Name, address and phone number of the driver;<\/li>\n<li>Name of insurance company;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Do not enter into any agreement to fix the other person&#8217;s vehicle, no matter how obvious it is that you are at fault.
