Bahamas First names new Group Senior VP & Chief Operating Officer

Veteran insurance executive Warren Rolle returns to The Bahamas to take on newly created position.
NASSAU, 28 March 2022 – The Board of Directors of Bahamas First Holdings Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Warren Rolle to the newly created role of Group Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Rolle returns to The Bahamas after a two-year posting as Managing Director of Group subsidiary Cayman First Insurance Company.
As Group Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Rolle will oversee the business operations, administration, and all financial aspects of subsidiaries Cayman First and NUA Insurance Agents & Brokers, in addition to the marketing and branding for the Group, with specific focus on sales and customer facing units.

Mr. Rolle joined the Bahamas First Group in 1993 as Section Head of the Claims Department of NUA. and has held progressively senior roles across the Group. He was appointed Managing Director of NUA in 2011. Under his leadership, NUA underwent significant growth – both organically and through multiple Agency/Broker acquisitions. He also broadened NUA’s footprint in the Family Islands by opening three new branches in Eleuthera, Grand Bahama and Abaco.
In January 2020, Mr. Rolle undertook the position of Managing Director of Cayman First, where he oversaw the expansion of the Property & Casualty and Health business segments and ensured the development of team members to create a robust internal succession plan.
Mr. Rolle has served as Chairman of the Bahamas Insurance Association and Vice President of the Cayman Islands Insurance Association and is a Director of the Bahamas Entrepreneurial Venture Fund. He is a member of the Rotary Club of East Nassau, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and the Scottish Masonic Lodge, Claudius R. Walker. Mr. Rolle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Subsequent professional training was acquired in Puerto Rico, London and Miami.
